CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS
Girlguiding will be celebrating turning 100 years old in 2010. The launch parties are taking place on 5th/6th September 2009 and the celebrations finish with a finale on 20th October 2010, that's 20:10 20/10 2010.
There are lots of events planned across the country and we are trying to make as many available to the girls as possible. Click our 'Centenary' button to find out what Dursley District Guides will be getting up to (this is for all Guides in Dursley District plus any Brownies who will be 10 during this time). |
FUNDRAISING
TESCO & SAINSBURY'S VOUCHERS 2010 We did so well last year that we thought we'd do Tesco & Sainsbury's this year. They're both now available so start bringing them in and putting them in our boxes. Make sure you get the right box now!
BADGES FOR SALE To help fund our centenary celebrations we are selling some old Guiding badges. Please click here for a full list of what's available. This includes old Brownies & Guide badges, fun patches and American patches & badges. We've raised over £800 so far.
TUCK SHOP IS OPEN!
Each week we meet in the hall the tuck shop will be available. All proceeds from it go towards the centenary celebration fundraising effort. We raised £120 last term. Don't forget your pocket money. YELLOW MOON
We have signed up to a new fundraising opportunity. This arts & crafts website donated commission to a good cause when you purchase from them. Simply choose us when you register and receive up to 25%. Visit Yellow Moon via our easyfundraising website and we get a double donation.
